Instruction for the Applicants on how to follow the application status and next steps of the process updated
The candidates have now the possibility to access a platform called “SANTE ERN HCP Application Status platform” directly from the SANTE Data Collection Platform which holds their ERN application. Within the SANTE ERN HCP Application Status platform the applicants will be able to follow the status of their application and to provide additional elements whenever this will be required. They can find instructions on how to follow their application status and on the next steps of the process to join existing ERN in the “Instruction for the Applicant on how to follow the application status and next steps of the process”
The Applicant should go to the platform to check and review any feedback from the Commission the Board of the Network and the Independent Assessment Body during the assessment phase. The Applicant has a possibility to provide additional feedback on the application using this system, if required.
The following points present a summary of the assessment phase of the applications:
The assessment of the application consists of the following steps:
1. Eligibility check by the European Commission. It may take around one and a half month.
2. Assessment by the Board of the Network. It may take up to three months for the draft opinion and five months for the final opinion. If the draft opinion of the Board of the Network is unfavourable, the Applicant will have one month to reply to the comments, and the Board of the Network will then have one month to complete its final opinion. The whole assessment of the Board of the Network will last up to five month.
3. Assessment by the Independent Assessment Body. It may take up to six months.
4. Approval by the Board of the Member States. It may take up to two months.
